Hey everyone. I just noticed that it has been over a month since my last post! I wanted to give everyone an update on what I've been doing so you didn't think I'd abandoned my dream!
To me crafting is a creative outlet and a wonderful way to express your style. Sometimes you find that you can't figure out how to express what you want without a little training and research! Lately I have been working really hard on new bow techniques and ordering a lot of supplies!
I am working on twisted boutique bows, toggle headbands, different woven headband patterns, and bottlecaps. I know bottlecaps! I am working on some designs featuring my local school's mascot for our kids who have a lot of team spirit and I am hoping that maybe the cheer squads would like to pick up their own designed line. That means I had to do a lot of work! I had to learn the best materials, suppliers, and techniques needed to give the best quality of work for the creative outlet I wanted to try.
Here are some things I've learned you might find interesting:
1 - Hot glue is REALLY hot! Especially when it comes out of the glue gun straight onto your finger tips! OUCH!
2 - New techniques cost a lot of money!
3 - Finding great new friends who have the same desire for beauty in crafting makes a big difference.
4 - Prayer is a must.
5 - You never want to show your husband all of your receipts.
6 - You can fill up a dining room table that seats 8 with ribbon.
7 - Selling your creations can be hard because you just want to keep every last one of them!
8 - There is never enough time in the day to accomplish what you must and do what you want to.
I will be posting pictures soon of new korker clippie barette sets, a link to my etsy site, a link to my ecrater site, and I'm hoping a link to some other great sites.
Let me know your thoughts!

Proverbs 16:3 says to "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed".
I know that in business many focus on their business plan, designs, marketing, advertising, and so many other things, but I find that all of that doesn't matter if the Lord isn't in your heart. I will strive to remember to listen to God so I'm staying on the right path and in the right direction.
My Story:
I have been working on various projects for some time in the hopes that they would come together in a way that would showcase things that I find beautiful, frugal, and things that I love.
I love to make crafts. As this business grows and my site grow, you will see to what extents I go to make something that really grabs my attention. Starting out you will see bows, headbands, and barrettes for the young and the young at heart.
You will perhaps browse around and find that I have added some items for the "bazaar" so that you can save on shipping and find items that speak to your soul. My friends will drop in and showcase the beautiful items they've made.
I really hope to add receipes, tips, and basic nonsense so that you find yourself sitting down with a nice cup of coffee, tea, or whatever "floats your boat"; to see what is going on in a world that has creativity, Faith in God, and craziness. I really think life is never predictable, always an adventure, and just a blink of what is in store for eternity.
I hope you enjoy, I hope you shop, and I hope you send me your custom orders!
Please give me your opinions, give me your ideas of what you'd like to see, and we will see what we can create together!
Have a Blessed Day ![]()
